Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Meritorious Award at the University of Edinburgh

I am honoured to support the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Meritorious Award. Hosting Dr. Kalam at my restaurant during his visit to Edinburgh on 15 May 2014 remains one of the most treasured moments of my life. The world remembers him as a great scientist and President, but I had the privilege of meeting a truly humble human being with a heart of gold. My sincere thanks to Professor George Palattiyil for establishing this award at the University of Edinburgh, ensuring that Dr. Kalam’s inspiring legacy continues to guide future generations.
